Snoqualmie Pass current riding

Honest report

Its may, so as for may, its great. But this is a ride report.

Went to undisclosed secret squirl spot today. Same elevation as the radio towers, which I'm headed to tommrow.

conditions.

just enough snow to make the sled go from side to side super easy. Great for starters, little mondain for experianced riders. Soft 4-6 on top of super solid grippy snow. Wetter spring-summer snow, bonding well, however high angle riding is ill advised with the wind that has been going on. Deeper pockets on wind loaded areas, but those high angle areas are scetch....

Have to be aware of snow bridges breaking, open stump areas. But above 4000k is still approx 7-9 feet in the flats. Steep areas and approachs are thin. Jumping is poor. Climbing is ok, riding is a 5 on a 10 scale for mid winter conditions. I didn't ride on on trails today. So don't know how the trails are. But it was great for may! so i'm riding again tommrow.

Is it worth riding.......yes.....great for getting bugs worked out on back up sleds ect.

Have fun, be safe.

Rode yesterday

Gold creek, clear to third switchback. Then we were the only ones up there! 2-3 meters of snow below the radio towers. All filled in, better than in the middle of winter. Best May Snow in five years.
