JIM, Snoghost, Where is the turbo kit i payed for????

Its been over a month since the last of three payments i payed to you for the 700-800 BB Polaris turbo kit you had for sale. I need the kit or i need my money back but i need something or i will report you as a fraud. I will get my money back either way. Im giving you a chance to send the kit with a valid tracking number within the week.

does anyone communicate by phone or email anymore? i sold a track to someone in Canada, but couldnt make heads or tails of the address. Canada address's are strange... PLUS I had to fill out forms for a canadien shipment. Just wanted to be sure it was accurate. 2 emails to the buyer went unanswered. 2 weeks later my computer crashed and I wasnt able to email the buyer. I lost his contact info... but waited (and held the track) at least hoping to hear from him where his track was. Never did. Nearly 4 months later, PAYPAL messaged me to notify me of "a claim". Guess there was a 10 day notice that I never recieved to "dispute" my "non-delivery"... I was still ready to ship the track. Instead, I had to re-imburse over $400.00+ to PAYPAL for the credit company, i basically lost $100.00+ due to the shipping that was added in the original cost of the track. All the buyer ever had to do was try to contact me....

This whole bashing thing on SnoWest is out of control. Really sad and totally takes away from Swap Meet. In all honesty I believe in most cases the buyer is way out of line.

I've been ****ked a couple of times myself but always understood that to be the risk I take and the price I pay for not buying new with a warranty and for buying site unseen. It never crossed my mind to publically bash the seller.

If your're a buyer do all of us a favor and understand the risks and never buy without asking some basic questions:

1. ask for complete high quality photos along with Part Number and video of it running. Photos and Part Number are critical since many times a seller is less than clear on what they are selling. I see it all the time. When someone cant post a clear photo of the item for sale that tells me something right there. When they dont post thier location or age or contact info of any kind I proceed with caution. When they are less than half my age that is also a caution sign. When they do post a clear photo and the items is a filthy mess and the surrounding area in thier shop is a collosal trashed mess that also tells me something. When the seller immediately calls me "dude" and cant put a logical sentence together and every other word out of his mouth is "like" or "ya know" that tells me somethig.
2. is there any cosmetic damage of any kind regardless of how slight
3. has there ever been any damage to the sled of any kind
4. are you the original owner.
5. is it modified in any way.
6. is there anything on it that doesnt work perfectly at this time.
7. have you had heating/cooling problems at any time
8. have you had crank, cylinder, piston problems at any time.
9. has any warranty work been done.
10. was it raced or used in competition hill climbs.....how was it used.
11. why are you selling it.
12, if you are buying a motor how is the compression.

and if you have problems give the seller or buyer a call. I believe 90% of the time there is a perfectly good reason for the delay.
