Snobunje...do they work?

Was going to invest in either the snowbunje rattler or cobra but wanted to hear from someone who's actually used either one...do they work? Worth the buy?

Thanks for your thoughts.

We've had the Rattler for many years, and love it. A lot of the times I'll get put on someone's sled because I'm smaller....while somebody else uses the Rattler. But even I can be on the end of the Rattler and it provides enough pulling strength to get out of ugly stucks (something I could never do just pulling on a ski). :)

We actually used the rattler to help us pull a truck out in Leadville last weekend; honest. Never seen one stretch that far.:face-icon-small-sho Would not have been able to get the truck out without it...

Chaos

As stated above.....Love it and don't leave the truck without it.....eer...had to ride back and get it a time or two ;)

In case your still wondering if a Sobunje is worth it, Heck Yah! Carry my Rattler on the sled at all times. Safer and easier on the back than lifting and tugging...especially those heavy underpowered stock 4 strokes (didn't want to start a brand war!).

I keep my right on my handlebars or on the outside of my pack.. every person in the group has one. you can pretty much bunjee out of every single stuck that exists..

you should try hooking 3 hand helds to a sled to sled bunjee.. you can pull things straigh uphill.

Wouldn't ride without mine, and without it would have had to left my sled last weekend. Steering broke and had to get the sled back up the hill to the trail before towing out. The pack I wear (CamelBak Havoc -Bike pack) has straps on both sides and two on the bottom. Loop from side to side through the bottom. Keeps my Snobunje (Rattler) and Shovel close for when I jump off my sled to go help a stuck buddy. I can snap a pic tonight if you need a clearer image.

The hubby wraps it around his bars (it's low so it's out of the way), and the hook goes to the handle and holds it in place. :)

I never thought they were worth carrying or purchasing. Bought the wife a sled this year and there was a brand new one in the rear storage pack. Snow was pretty deep last weekend and the kids got stuck a few times so I thought I'd try it. I'm totally impressed, wouldn't go without it. Even small stucks on flat ground, why even try to lift and tug, just hook up, pull, bingo sled is out. I used my wifes Rev to do the pulling, might have to get a heavier bumper for the XP, not sure it's up to that.
