I balloned just for a second but saved it with a little throttle. Same rules apply? "when in doubt throttle out" Fast forward to save yourself some boredom. I'm flying a Piper Warrior coming back from Hoquiam on my second XC flight. I wish the weather would either go completely to hell and dump yards of snow or turn nice so I can keep flying. I'm only VFR.

That's absolutely one of my bad habits!!! You know it cracks me up now (when people who have held the controls straight and level on a calm sunny day) tell me that flying is easy. Thanks for being easy on me.

It was one of mine when I started flying too...I figured "man, if i hit the runway I'm doing great!" It'll come with time, once everything else doesn't take thinking anymore.
