Sno-Skinz covers -- awesome warranty!

After 3 1/2 years, my Sno-Skinz cover finally ripped. A little bit of the seam came apart and ripped more of the cover in the wind.

I called Ron @ Sno-Skinz and asked him if I could come to his house and pick up a new one on my way out of town (he lives about 7 miles from me here in Littleton, CO). I told him I know they had a "lifetime warranty", but that I didn't expect a new one for free after the beating mine has taken. Probably around 15k miles of wind, salt, mag chloride, and mud.

Ron took a quick look at it and told me "They should last longer than that" and wouldn't take a dime for a new one. Now THAT is customer service!

Oh yeah, almost forgot -- these are designed AND MANUFACTURED right here in Denver. No Chinese or Indonesian crap here ;) If you're thinking $200 or so sounds steep for a cover, you might want to think again...

there is ABSOLUTELY NO COMPARISON!!!! don't know why anyone would waste their money on ANY other product. He has done the same for me.

I know where my next one is coming from. My brand new ski-doo Intense tarp lasted 500 miles before the top blew out. That's riding on a truck deck too.

That's about the best advertising sno-skinz could get right there.
I'm glad I don't need a cover anymore, but if I do, I know who's cover I'll buy. And I'll pass this on to all my buddies back east w/ open trailers.

Bought mine in 03. Been on 2 different rev's & now XP & logged maybe 20,000 open trailer miles on it & still going.

Love my Sno-Skinz cover. I did add tennis-ball covers for the handlebar hooks to help the cover last a little longer though.

If you apex guys got a cover you should be considered VERY LUCKY to have one at all... in 2006 I put my name on the list of good customers who want's one for my apex......I'M STILL WAITING.... That ron guy has NEVER, NEVER, EVER called me back.... and when I would contact him he would only tell me "I havent' gotten one to make a pattern yet"...... That guy has an awesome product and I would still buy it.... but he has been a blow hard to me........

Great Product!!

Bought one when I bought my 02 RMK.Have since sold the sled to a friend and cover is still going strong,a little faded from 6 years in the sun at 9000 feet but structurally sound.
Bought an 07 RMK last spring used with a genuine Polaris cover, one summer in the sun and it's all sun bleached, will probably last 1-2 years more at most:eek:.Guy I bought sled from payed $160 for the Polaris cover.Could have spent the extra $40-50 and got a cover that will last.
My 08 D7 dealer wanted to sell me the Polaris cover,I said order me the Snoskinz cover I can wait a week.

There is a pile of us that have these awesome covers in Edmonton. Our factory ones lasted 3 trips in this crazy weather we get here. There is a couple guys that go almost every weekend and their tarps still look new after a wash. Ron you have done a bang up job with these. We promote your company every chance we can.

Thanks

Can't explain this one!

I don't know why "johndeere8420" didn't get a call back when the Apex covers were ready in the Fall of 2006. Either I screwed up or the prior owner did not pass the information along. In any case, it is NOT good business to ignore a potential customer that wants to buy your product you just spent considerable time and money to create!!

Thank you Beer-Gut, and everyone for your feedback and encouragement, it is greatly appreciated.:D

Sincerely,
Ron
