I just got a 1988 sno scoot for my son. Does anyone know what the compression should be, also does anyone make a larger lug track for these. I am also looking for extra parts if anyone has any. thanks

Can't remember the compression ... am presently stretching a 91 snosport to 108" x 11.5" x 1.25" ... picked up a track from ADBovin ... swap out the drivers for a aftermarket Yamaha Bravo drivers with a 2.52" pitch.

It take a bit of work but I have th track just about set up ... will post pic soon.

i used traction aids...but a fella had some good threads on here...bullhead moto...do a search...but don;t buy from him

As for traction aids Im going to get some 1 inch aluminum angle iron and bolt it to the track. There going to be just over 4 inches long and Im going to bolt them to the middle portion of the track. I checked and they will just clear. It should be good enuf for my little boy. I will be bolting 20 of them on the track.

I've got one on loan for my kids. I had an old pair of ski skins from my XLT that I had previously given the guy to put on. The steel skis stick real bad, so after cutting the skins to length they helped a bunch. I also had a belly pan from an RMK that he used as a front skid plate (after cutting down to fit). That helps it ride up over snow boulders and keeps it from having snow stuck all over the front.

Post up pics of mods if you have them. These are fun little sleds but could be improved on.
