Need to replace the carb on our sno scoot, any aftermarket options or carbs that people have swapped in successfully?

could use one from a similar size scooter ... Royal D has a scooter section and a few carbs ...
Yamaha also had a 125 cc quad that might still have carb available.

I used a mikuni flat side out of the western Powerdports catalog. It was like $140 new and works very well. Can't remember off hand which one it was.

Any way to find out what you used or a part number?? Jetting??

I got one that is giving me LIP and Im ready to smash it!!!:face-icon-small-sho

Snoscoots are finicky. Making sure you have the black plug under the jet off set from the center one. Also make sure your float hangs appropriately. And obviously making sure it is good and clean. Sometimes the black pressure tube from the crankcase to the fuel pump can leak and cause poor fueling to the carb as well.

I have worked on a lot of scoots and every single one runs differently.

Selling some snoscoots and parts as well located in Maine. Good luck.

Also looking for a carb that swaps over easily. One of mine is now beyond repairing anymore.

I bought a new one last year from Yamaha, $340.00. They are spendy but no messing around. I spend a lot of time trying to figure out another setup, different carbs ext. I couldn't get much help with jetting sizes & needle sizes. You can spend a lot of money buying those and getting it dialed in. Something to consider.
