sno-pro intake?

I have read on here about running the sno-pro intake on the m chassis.
Exactly what model does that come from?
Can I get away without running a control box with this intake?
08 m1000 w/slp can and thats it.

Thanks

It will fit on the M chassis. I believe black diamond uses them with their cold intake system. I bought the snowpro intake from Cat and used it for one year. Seemed to work pretty good, but changed to the Timbersled intake the next year. I like the Timbersled intake a lot more and it seemed to be more consistent. It is also easy to switch back to stock when you sell the sled.

04' and up snopro modified race sleds us this intake. Had them on three sleds now worked very well for me. My sleds had lots of other mods so control box was a must. I would think that you would need a fuel box of some sort to take full advantage. My new to me M8 has the bdx intake which looks pretty much like the snopro intake, Speedwerx also sells the snopro intake on there website.

Sno-Pro airbox

we have been installing it for years, (p/n) 0770-672, it works really well, I guess I haven't ran anything else. Be careful you might have to install a fuel control box. I would suggest using frogskinz vents on the nose of the sled, snow can build up on top of the airbox, I would look into installing vents under the bumper, we have ran this setup in 4 feet of powder and not had any problems.

yes and i got one new never installed , just bought one to many , got the one that goes down over the nose / bumper on my trail sled and the one that just covers the top half of the nose, not the bumper on my M. used the side vents on theM bumper ,, anyhow the extra one i have is the one that goes down over the bumper . 45 shipped lower 48.. but you will have to still buy button bottoms for it PM pls

you can run the intake and can with no fuel controller, but if you add a y-pipe or pipe, you must have a controller...if you're running a can, be sure to seal up the space between the exhaust pipe and the belly pan, if there's space there it will let exhaust gas back into the engine bay, which gets sucked into the intake, which causes a bog in deep snow...:face-icon-small-hap
