Snapping primary springs?

09 800 dragon, 11-12 lbs boost. around 10,000 ft. Orange primary spring with 70g weights ( i think). Secondary- straight 48 helix with black w/ orange or red (cant tell which) stripe for spring. I have had the clutches set up by a very well respected polaris mechanic around here so I am certain it is not a mechanical issue. Snapped one last year down around 8-9 lbs boost. replaced it this year and snapped it within 100 miles. Did see 8500 rpm once accidentally turning the boost up too much, but usually around 8350 RPM.

Anyone else having this problem?
Could it be harmonics?
Do i need a different set up?
Maybe go to 50 degree helix with stiffer secondary spring?
Would a TI spring help?

Do I need to let this thing cool down a lot? Clutches do get hot, but I whale on this thing non stop, Usually only stop when stuck or to help some one else dig out and lunch. TOMMY LIKE WINGY!!!
What do you guys do?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
