Smoke On The Water BABY!! **PICS**

Well, we went from snow to the lake on Sunday. Team Summit wrapped up filming for Elevation 4 with a sweet 3-sled run across Bass Lake. Billygoat, Lefty and Hatcher tore it up as a crowd of 30 or so cheered them on.

We lost one of the sleds on the way back (Lefty) and attempted a Snowhawk lake crossing that ended poorly for Pancho.

Time to start editing!

Jeff

Nice.... I'd love to water skip some but I'm afraid of sinking my sled. Maybe if I had a backup sled I wouldn't be so worried.

Looks like a great time! I wanna see that SnowHawk's run.

That old Mountain Max never let me down. That thing is bone stock and has 3k miles on it and I have never done nothing to it. The feeling of being out in the middle of the lake..........Jeff got that feeling in that one picture. I didn't even know you were there. I couldn't wait to get to shore!!

I measured the distance on a map program, we went 3,829 Feet, I would call that 3/4 of a mile, that's a mile and a half on the water there and back!!!

I would love to do that!!!!! But i'm to cheap to take the chance of going down. Looks fun.:D

we skip water all the time.. even have oval races on the water. you get better traction on the water than in any kind of snow. you can literly stand the sled on its tail very easy, on the water if you stand on the back of the tunnel[ i wouldnt recommend that] just hit the water with the throttle pinned at least 40 mph and any sled will make it. i wouldnt really try it with a swiss cheesed track[ ported] because you loose alot of flotation from them.. clicky on the vidio and watch how we do it in wis.

After being to the MOUNTAINS for the first time this yeat, I wouldn't say nothing beats riding on water, but it is ALOT of fun....you pulse is beating like never before, and once you get a hang of it, you never want to stop....water-race season is coming up here now...should be fun..looks like you guys had lots of it
