Has anyone else been following the neverending thread on KTMtalk about the SmartCarb? Evidently, it's a metering rod carb that atomizes the gasoline more completely, leading to better power and fuel economy. The best part, from a sledder's perspective, is the self-compensating nature of the carb, so there is no need to make any adjustment for air density (temp, elevation).

Surely someone out there must be planning to put a set of these on a sled.

Pre-ordered and waiting. Sounds like they should start shipping this week but I am not going to celebrate until I have one in hand. Hoping its the real deal, almost seems to good to be true but I too followed the entire thread on KTMtalk and it sounds legit.
