Small light bar? Husky 450

In the process of setting up a 2017 husky 450 fc, thinking about mounting a small 6 inch led light bar, any ideas if the stock stator can handle it?

Suggestions, thoughts.......

Thanks

Walmart sells a 6" LED light bar for less than 20 bucks. 18w, 1770 lumens. I'm sure cyclops sells a much superior product, but Jesus!

I like to feed my kids just like you do.We are far from getting rich. Quality cost,Buying junk cost you more.
There is a reason we sell more Motorcycle lights than all the others combined.

Looks like nice stuff. Any idea if the stock husky 450 fc has enough juice with the stock stator to run a 6 inch light bar?

No problem with the Penetrator.
Both the 630 and 325 will work fine.

All jokes aside there are huge differences in LED lights.
Just because it looks like a duck , doesn't mean it is. And Im pretty sure you cant eat that duck.:)

Here are a few reasons that separate a quality light from a other product.

Many do not realize that the same basic PN of emitters have very different output levels and quality levels...Ie different bin #s

A led emitter is graded, a higher graded emitter will put out more light. Cyclops uses only high end emitters, chinese lights use low grade emitters, but claim the same output, when in fact they are no where near the output or reliability. true nearly 100% of the time.

How that emitter is driven, and at what percentage makes a huge difference in how much reliable light you will get out of that emitter.. We drive our emitters at approx 98%

Optics,.. optics are what makes a led light provide a light beam.
In our case we use long distance optics in the center and wider driving beams on the outside. This gives a very usable pattern, perfect for snowbiking and dirt riding.

Electronic thermal management, Only the very best lights use electronic thermal management, this allows the light to vary its output in the event there is a thermal ramp up. Most rely on only fins to dissipate heat. Lights without ETM will burn up if ramped up temperatures occur.

Plug and play harnesses for bikes, Cyclops was the first to offer true plug and play harnesses for EFI bikes, using the best connectors and wire available. all made in the usa.

Experience.. We have been riding and racing single skis for well more than 10 years. I personally owned the first snowbike in wa and raced in the first snowbike race ever held, finishing in the A main. Racing more than 35 24hr events has also bolstered our night riding experience, something no other lighting company can come close to. One huge reason our systems work when you need them. We have been supplying factory motorcycle racers lights for almost 20 years, They know what works and what does not. I am proud of our record, servicing the very best in the industry.

Of course you can get a cheaper light than what we offer, wire it up yourself, hope the mounts are good, it doesn't leak, deal with the lack of performance and higher wattage draw and hope that it will work when you need it. for many thats an Ok compromise. Fair enough, those are not our customers, nor our market.

For riders who demand the best out of their equipment and put their lives on the line in the mountains, there simply is nothing that can compare.

Hella also make a 6" LED light bar for 50 bucks. Not sure of the qaulity, but the company has run their lights in most every off-road rally and baja race in the world, for decades....so maybe you can trust it to get you home.

Yes I'm using stock stator on my 2015 manual says it's 75w. When I turned it on without motor running I could see the voltage drop, so I was nervous about draining the battery and carry a jumper box. But so far has worked well a couple of times I forgot to turn it off and the bike started fine. Stock battery by the way. On the lumens it, it works well maybe better than my sleds stock light. It sits up high and the snow is reflective so you don't need a lot of light. Just to guard that statement, I do not ride at night I only use it to get back to the truck, and l keep my battery on a tender.

These are the brackets I used, I had to dremmel them out to fit my bars, and tweaked the brackets a little. I have a couple of flights over the bars :face-icon-small-con and the are still in place. I got 4 brackets two to use on a quad.
