Slydogs on a apex

Anybody running powderhounds on there apex"s. Is it a good combination or just stick with the stock skis? It would add some color.

I run them on my RX-1 and I love them.They are an awsome alround ski.The only thing I had to do was suck up the front shock a bit to transfer a little more weight on the skis.They are great in the powder.My Uncle runs them on his apex and he like them as well,

i love my gen 2's on my rx-1 the floation is incredible and cornering was improved dramatically over my powder pro's and the sidehilling and stability was like riding a different sled all together

Are most Apex guys running 7" Powderhounds or 8" Powderhounds? I know the keel is the same height, the width is just in the ski. To anyone who'se tried both, does the extra half and inch on each side help at all with flotation?
