slydog powder hounds? any input!

rode them the past 2 seasons... darty on a groomed trail. Other than that they are a fantastic ski. You will like them!

rode them one season, do dart on the trail a bit, will throw you unxpectly if your turning in powder and hit a previous sled track or snow that has set up for one reason or another. Overall I like mine, float well, durable, light, economical.

Put mine on a week ago and they work very well sitting on the concrete in my garage:D

I love my Sly Dogs. I noticed some darting, but that was due to spindle angle.

The thing that is the COOLEST about these things is that flexible is an understatement! I've seen them bend in half, into a figure 8, twisted up like a curly Q and they bounce back, they don't break. That just flat out rocks! :beer;

2 thumbs up here. :cool:

FWIW, and JMHO...

I liked other skis better over the Powderhound.

I think chassis makes a difference.

On my ZX and Rev, I didn't like the Powderhounds.. They pushed in setup snow while boondocking. They were unpredictible in crusty topped snow.. Darty on the trail. The original handle design was a POS..I think they've since revamped that.

The good: They float very well, they are light, they flex. Thus, they work great in pow.

This could also be related to suspension setup, i dunno..

I put MODS on my Rev after that, and Simmons on my ZX..
Love the MODS and they will be going on my Nytro as well.

I'd upload a smaller pic but I'm having problems posting, some server issue?
