Sluggish bottom end 2013 800 pro

2013 800 has a bad bog in the bottom rpm range. It smokes excessively at an idle. It also runs rich at take off and is leaving black trails in the snow. It cleans up after 6000 rpm and runs great to WOT. Sled has 550 miles. Any thoughts ?????

Have you tried changing the spark plugs? On my 13, I checked my TPS base and idle setpoint and it was off. It was at .75V at base and .90V at idle, I adjusted it to .71V base and .93V idle and she runs great! The idle was low, but now it idles around 1850 rpm. Maybe check yours too.

No haven't changed plugs yet. The sled idles at 1850 to 1950. And really runs great everywhere except 3500-5000 rpm I thought maybe oil pump or oil pump adjuster screw. It just seems to load up.

Verify the oil pump linkage is indeed connected and working. Pump fails to full open if linkage is disconnected. Likely the cause of the issues you describe.
