SLP's coolant restrictor question

Anyone know if this is something special or something I could fab up in my lathe? Deleting the front radiator in an 06 600 and see it's a little different than a 900. I don't have a problem ordering it if need be, but I'm kind of up against a time frame.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong here but I thought it was just a sheet metal thickness "washer" with an appox 5/8" hole in it???????

I made 'em up out of sheet metal for other sleds in the past, just didn't see the SLP one up close

I put a RAW front end on my old 06 600 so therefore had to delete the radiator. I used SLP's kit at the time and if i remember right all i used was just a 90 degree hose fitting with barbs and couple hose clamps. Seemed to work fine for the time i had it and temps were fine.

So I just put this together without any sort of restrictor in the hose, started it up and noticed that the coolant bottle was churning real good and the temps got up to 120 and then the T-stat opened and it dropped down and the cooler in the tunnel got warm. I've got it plumbed according to SLP's instructions for their kit which brings the hose from the bottom of the thermostat directly to the coolant bottle. Spose it'll work???
