anybody have any thought or actuall accounts on weather or not its worth the $170 for the Y pipe? anybody running the slp single pipe with the stock y pipe?

slp will tell you to buy the y pipe but I believe the stock will work. I've compared the two side by side and could not see any difference.

I am now running the SLP single pipe set (with stock Y) and its a fairly decent gain for the HP they say you get out of it. I am impressed so far. I dont see the need to buy a Y pipe if the kit they provide doesnt call for one.
Same here couldn't see any difference on my 08 D8 except the ceramic coating. No way I'd ever spend that kind of $$ for it.
