Question: Does the torque arm go on the inside of the bulkhead or outside? I have the engine out still and was trying to set it up before I drop it back in.

Yes, The torque arm bolts in on the inside of the 'frame'. You will need to make sure you get the motor bracket hooked up before you put the primary on... it is easier to do the whole hook up with the primary off, but I think you can get it bolted up with it on... not 100% sure on that tho as it's been a while, lol...

Here's a couple pics...

I see threaded hole on motor for the motor location,, just not sure what the rest of it hooks too,,,, those pics look like motor out is only way.. ?

i had install one with the motor in it is possible you have to remove the primary to do it.

Yes you can install the torque arm with the motor in...I did mine that way, you just need to remove the clutch. The arm should come with a template for where to drill the frame, then the bracket bolts to the crank.

this might seem as an odd question, but does anyone have a pic of the main bolt that goes to the engine bracket.. i put mine in a ziplock baggy with all my older engine bolts. needless to say i don't know which one it was.

The only one you have left in the bag when you get the motor back in!!! It is shinier than the motor mount bolts, shouldnt have too many that size in the bag.

lol i thought that too... i had extra bolts left over :S never a good sign.

but thanks for the pic. i had a feeling it was the bolt with the shoulder on it... thank alot i appreciate it.

the link on mine is installed in the opposite direction, A little easier to get wrench on to tighten the lock nut after you adjust it.

I've seen a lot of others that have it mounted the opposite way of mine. I don't remember why, but I couldn't mount mine that way that easily, so I just did it that way. It's tough, but I can still put a wrench on the jam nut to adjust if needed.
