SLP stage 3 Not crisp as it should

Hi, Just installed a stage 3 in my Pro RMK 800 2015 recently. Sled is pulling 8200 rpm as it should with recommanded clutching. Problem is from idle when you just crack the throtle the motor is not crisp as before. Last ride i also burned 3 plugs...

I followed the instructions carefully during installation, calibrated the TPS with the pcfc... Verified that the coil with the white plug was going to the mag side...tps readings looks to be consistent...i have 250 milles on my sled...running 0-3000

Any suggestions?

Plugs

What plugs are you running? My brother has the stage 3 kit also and his had a stumble/ not crisp at low rpm. I had a extra set of Iridium NGK plugs SLP recommends and we install those. Seemed to snap out of it and no fouled plug as of yet.

You shouldn't need the v force I'm running quite a bit more hp then the stage 3 on the stock reeds with no ill effects.

Not saying you need to run V force. Have been working on something similar on mine. Been doin lots of read and adjusting.:face-icon-small-con

This weekend i readjusted the tps and i putted the ethanol mode. Now its running better but still have some miss when i play with throtle...since ethanol settings give more fuel maybe i need a bit more but seems strange cause i was fouling plugs at first...i will try back the stock pipe with slp head and pcfc to see if it run better...can you give me more détails on your testing?

Bought the sled with the stage 3 installed. Had 288 miles on the clock. Was fouling a plug every ride, mostly the pto side, the mag side the odd time. (was running the iridium NGK plugs to) Had the TPS adjusted preseason and the latest fuel map installed in the PCV.

Checked compression, 125 both sides at 4500ft, checked coils, magneto and sensors, all within specs, even swapped a couple sensors from my 13. Unfortunatley, I didn't get the stock pipe, head or reeds when I bought the sled. So I cant return to stock without buying pieces.:face-icon-small-dis

After searching SW for similar issues, I have been taking fuel away in the low to mid range in spots where I have been having the plugs foul. Little bits at a time and checking plug color and piston wash. It is improving, but a slow process. I had mine in ethanol mode and changed it to non eth and it helped.
My sled runs good on the top end, its just in the trees is were it seems to load up at times and foul.
So ,its a work in process for me. Good thing I like to tinker!:face-icon-small-coo
