I gave SLP a call on this 3rd change. I was told it was for off throttle stuff they found in the field testing but the #'s say different to me.
I quizzed a bit further (why no stagger in the cylinders now and am I getting more power or is it just safer) and it seems the '13 is making more power stock. Asked why and corporate answer was timing and fuel changes, maybe ex valve timing changes, maybe port changes.
I also asked if a '13 stage 3 makes more power than a '12 stage 3. Corporate answer was no but I'm going to believe different lol.
As for the rpm increase, once you start a belt slipping it's hard to stop. Maybe a gram or two will stop it from starting.
