SLP single pipe questions

I bought a used single SLP for my 09 assault and was wondering if you have to move the wiring harness to the left side of the sled? i already have the foam removed and foil tape lining the inside of the hood. If someone could post a few pics if the harness does have to be mover that would be great, I have no friends who ride polaris therefore cannot go look at someone elses. Oh also will i have to clutch a little heavier with this pipe? thanks for the info.

The instructions for the 2009 700 clearly instruct you to relocate the wiring, but the 800 instructions don't...hmmmmm. They are the same chassis, but I don't know if the wiring is located in the same place from the factory? Couldn't hurt relocating or heat taping if you think it may become damaged. Easier done in your garage now than facing the consequences of burnt wiring in the back country.

I moved my harness on my 09 d8 per slp instruction. I do not have pics and already sold the sled. I bought my pipe used also, you just have to go to slp's website and download the instructions. Hope this helps.

I have the same sled, and installed the slp full exhaust. I did move the hood wiring to the left of the hood, based on the direction of other on the site as well as the SLP directions. They said the SLP gives off a lot of heat and its super easy to do. Just remove headlight cover, notch the left side of the cover, re-route wires out the new hole and zip tie to the left edge of the hood. 10 minute deal, not to have melted wires seems well worth it to me!

I thought it has to be MTX weights as you wouldn't pull 10-68 at 9000!
I'm running 10-60's belly busters this year...8-10,000 ft!
