Running an slp/rkt dropin kit in my11 pro.Ran just the drop in kit and it ran great.Added a slp pipe and power comander,w/ stage 4 mapping, and now have lost lots of rpm down from 8200 to 7000 in loose snow and some times lower. It did pull about 8000 rpm and run strong on hard pack climbs.Seems to rich now, only changed clutch weights by adding 2grams 10-60s to 10-62s.Anyone else running this kit in an my11,what map are you using.thanks in advance Rich.

Did you sychronize your throttle position on the power commander with the throttle position on yor sled?

i did not sync tps how would you do that?another snow wester recomended i run the stage 4 map. what would you recomend? ok i looked up how to sync pcv i will do that tomorrow

Assuming your clutching was spot on before adding the aftermarket accessories... Try doing a spark plug chop to see if the plugs are dripping wet... If they look good, I would then try removing the SLP pipe and PCV and put the stock pipe and can back on to see if that cures the RPM problem. If it cures it, I would say that the stage 4 map is probably the issue on the 2011...

First off you need to have your tps checked to sync with the power commander. Any polaris dealer with a diagnostic computer can do that for you. It took my dealer maybe 3 mins to do it.

Now to move on to the next question. SLP stage 4 map, in my opinion is wayyy off for the set up you have. Unless you have a pretty amazing amount of porting that you've had done it will be far to much fuel for your set up. Get the slp stage 3 mapping and try it. Should be able to easily upload it onto the pcv and away you go. I have the full SLP stage 3 kit and let me tell you it absolutely rips!!

Good luck!

I have this setup for my 2013...the stock maps changed year to year...the 2013 stock map is leaner then 11&12.

I run the stage 4 map in mine and it's spot on during pulls and plugs are good too. On the trails is a little rich.

I would call Jeremy at Lewis outdoor equipment in Idaho. He has sold many of these setups and should be able to help.

The SLP porting isn't as aggressive as some other companies so the RKT setup and how it changes port timing can support the map.

thanks for the advise,i synced the tps to the power comander, when i hooked it up to my lap top the power comander software showed 0% at idle, the voltage was .919 to 4.22 wot.i spoke with jeremy and he thought the stage 4 map would be ok. thanks again to all who have helped with advise

almost forgot does the ecu need to learn tps position? i plan on resetting tps base setting as soon as i get my power up cord from slp.

Does anyone think that you can run the stage 3 map on a 2011 with rk drop kit and SLP pipe?
My thought was no PV5 needed for 11 or 12 with drop in kit, but stage 3 map for head and Slp pipe? Or they work together so stage 4 map needed?

all of my testing has been done on the 13's.... i have one customer running a 2012 as of wednesday with the drop in kit plus pipe set up. but we are all running kelsey's high compression drop in kit so that may make a difference as well. running the 13.5 domes at 3-7k feet. have had great luck with the stage 4 map on all of the 13's have done a little tweaking on mine, but havent had to change much at all. So far so good on the 2012 set us as well.

Jkinser, Is the 2012 you set up running the stage 4 mapping also? Thanks

that was my thought but some times when you stack mods you get unintended results so thats why i try to ask about stuff like that

Yes it is running a stage 4 map, we have found even on the 2012 that running our reccommended clutching with this set up and a couple gallons of race gas for our elevation3-6 primarilly at times a little higher that they are running great. As stated above I have tweaked my mapping as well as a few of my customers from the stage 4 to better suit our needs for our riding style. The stage 4 map is a little rich and therefore "safe" as a start point.

? Thanks

ran today sled ran much better with jkinser's clutching ,rpm was fine down low but a little inconsistant on top and lost about 300 rpm,any thoughts, jeremy recomends,a alloy primary sping maybe that's the ticket.any thoughts? thank for all the good advise so far.
