SLP Power up

Has anyone used the power up kit offered by slp ? Having problems getting the right 5 volt reg for my tps set up tool and need to check tps settings on 4 different sleds two dragon and two pros .
I live too far away from Radio shack to take in my meter to test regulators . I have bought 2 so far that they said were right on but when I test them on my md78 fluke they are off.
I am thinking about building a 12v set up, has anyone done this yet ?

Different application, but same idea... I use a 12v lawn tractor battery with my own test leads with alligator clips to power up my turbo accessories such as my dc powered oil pump, afr gauge, and bd ebc, and boost it xic and not start the sled. I use the dc power plug in the harness in the wire bundle on top of the clutch cover. Works great, should do the same as the slp power up cord, just not as pretty lol I would hook it up and check to see if you have 5v at your tps plug and if so, then just figure a way to check the output voltage with the TPS plugged in. Thanks I see where the port is on the pro to power up the ecu and was wondering if this is where I would hook up the 12 volt power . I just wanted to make sure .
