SLP Powder Valves Worth It???

I ordered slp powder valves for my 09 D8 and after I saw them I was a little leary of installing them and wanted some input from those that have ran them, if they are good or bad... thanks

Power Valves

I have ran the Power Valves for two seasons with really good results. They make a huge difference in deep powder performance on the IQ. Not to hard to install. Clean the airbox out really good after the install.

Good luck

i have them on my dragon. i just followed slp directions on install.you really never know they are working because you cant see them in action under a load, but when your intakes are full of snow on a deep day its nice to know they are there.

I know there has to be more people with some good or bad information on the powder valves????? Akrevrider, where on the airbox did you end up putting them?>

I installed the Power Valves on the back of the airbox using the template. They are mounted toward the top on the back of the airbox & covered with SLP pre-filter material.

No doubt that the PVs work as advertised in snow up to my windshield, no bog at all. I highly recommend them. Enough said others can chime in.

Good luck

I installed them on my 08 D8 and they work great. No problems with them here. I would recommend them.

I have them and love them... installed on my D7 and 900 with FNI intake.

It is nice on those super deep days when all the fresh-air intakes on my sled are plugged up...

I put some basic FrogZskin mesh over them (self adhesive) to keep out any belt dust after the install.
