After having a minor carnage this past weekend i am in the market for some new skis, i was thinking the slp powder pro with the carls cut on them, Is anyone running these on there pro and if so how do you like them???

I run them on my 2010 cat and they made a noticeable difference. I did the Carls cut out my self and that contributed to the performance of the ski. Overall, one of the best skiis i've ever used. Much better than stock. Not sure your stock skiis are as crappy as mine though!

I've had Powder pros in the past and they're great but I have a extra set of grippers if your interested? They're not new but in decent shape no carbides or loops......... Make me an offer.

Thanks for the replies guys, would it be worth to get the one from carles cycle with the cut out or just leave them stock??? thanks :face-icon-small-hap

Ran em' without the cut....had to do the cut. What I found is that they will "bite" when the sled is layed over. Cut the edge of the ski and that goes away.

I have run both. IMO Powder Pros are not any better than Grippers. On harder snow or heavy snow, they are actually much harder to turn because of the deep keel. In deep powder either ski does awesome.
I am staying with Grippers and putting the Powder Pro's on my Cat. Cats stock skis are no bueno.

I have some on my pro and really like them. They are excellent on the fluffy stuff. Very. Good for side hilling. I would like to try the gen 1's Simmons skis on a pro with mark at cmx's front end.

have powder pros and SLT's. overall i like the SLT's better, but the powder pros are very good. going down hill (not on your side) they turn very well with out diving, but the flip side is they float better so they take a little more effort to throw the sled over compared to the slt's. both slts and powder pros make the sled much more enjoyable on the trail. compared to stock they are better in every way.
