Im new to polaris this upcoming season. I was wondering if anyone has used powder pros on their pro rmk? and if so how did they work. I am going to pick up my 13 pro this weekend and cant decide between white gripper skis, or white slp powder pros. So any info between the two is appreciated, Thanks

I've had PP's on my last 4 sleds (07 M8, 08 D7, 09 D8 and 11 Pro) I tried Sly Dogs on the 2 Dragons. They are a great trail ski, but when it comes to any freshy on the trail and beyond they are amazing in my opinion. The gripper is a great stock ski, and some will say that there isn't much difference between the Gripper and Powder Pro, but I think the PP is a superior ski.

I ran a set of white and red Powder Pros on my '11 last year and was very pleased with them. They did a decent job on the trail and floated really well in the powder. This year I'm going to do the "Carls Cut" to them and see if that makes any difference in boondocking and sidehilling.

I've used the pp's on sleds for years and loved them, however when I put thm on my pro they just didn't seem to work as good as the stockers. They felt a bit too agressive for my liking. When sidehilling they seem to bite a bit too much and had a tendency to make the front end a bit jerky. If you've never noticed this just try putting your stockers back on for just 1 ride. Chances are you'll leave them on. This is just my opinion, others may love them.

Well i ordered some last week. I guess i will find out how they work this winter, if i dont like them i will put the stock ones back on and sell them to the old man to put on his proclimb. Thanks for all the input!

I ran PP's on my M chassis, but the stock Poo skis are the bomb in my opinion. I'm now riding a fully built Pro with stock skis. I feel like I should change them because I've done everything else, but honestly they work so well that I won't.

ran PP's on my Pro last yr and loved them
put them on my Freeride this year

also MUCH easier to install over the C & A's
those things are like a 4 man job to get them on proper

You bought a freeride after owning a pro! :sorry:
really?

Andre,
Thanks for the tip on the CA rubbers. I bought some and installed them. Big difference in the amount of effort to rock the ski. I believe this will help immensly in the rubber bumper life. I did modify them with a porting tool to match grooves in the skis.

I bet if most people check there pro they will find the bumper has failed. Look close!
