SLP POWDER PROS MOUNTING ????

Just about to mount my new powder pros and wondered what holes people are using? Also bushings inside or outside the skis? Im more interested in powder riding and boondocking so whatever setup works best for mounting them let me know 2007 BD RG M8

Thanks

ive got a 08 m8 i put the spacers on the outside so the sled will lay over better i came off the simmons i miss them i put the bolts in the rear mounts on the saddle.i dont like the idea that if you need to remove a ski you have to disassemble the ski to do it

gotcha ...cool thanks for the info...yeah ive heard and read so many thoughts on skis i think mainly they are all good except the stockers and you gain this but lose that type of thing..thanks dude

Stock M skis are highly under-rated. They are one of the few skis that actual fit this sled and they don't perform bad at all. Like Harf said, should you really have to jump through hoops to get your skis mounted on the sled. SLP's make you have to remove the runner bolts to take the skis off the saddles, then take the saddles off. This was obviously a compromise design, no one would have done this on purpose...

Funny story, hated the stock skis on my '07 M1000 153 SP, thought it made the track work to hard and when I put the Simmons Gen 1 skis it made the track feel pretty decent everywhere but on hardpack groomed trails.

On my new 2010 TM8 162 SP I loved my skis and thought they were updated! They floated great, just darted a bit on the trail and were hard to steer at times on hardpack too. Put them side to side to my M1000 skis to find out they are exactly the same. Confused the crap outta me, so it must be related to the machines weight and suspension setup more than anything?

Tried the Simmons on my new TM8 and so far I like them, but need more ride time then just 35miles and some days on the hills. I had to swap the spindle bushings to use the Simmons on my new sled, do they make a new saddle on Simmons skis to fit the new bolt size on the new M sleds?
