Just wondering who has done this, was there any trouble getting rpm or pipe temps.

im sure it wont harm anything but im pretty sure you wont get the full potential outta the pipe/can combo cause the slp can that is designed for the pipe. The slp can is designed to have flow with a little better sound you dont usually lose power like mbrp's they just basically make noise. My Buddy lost 3mph putting on a mbrp can compared to stock muffler in radar runs. Might work better with a aftermarket pipe i dunno.

I have slp pipe and mbrp can combo on myne. if its cluched right you can pull the same rpms as stock..i didnt notice a loss of anything but im sure i did lose some power compaired to the complete slp pipe and can being they are disigned to go together. I did it cause i like the sound and the weight savings. but thats just me.

I was running an SLP pipe w/ a Sno Stuff can, which I believe is similar to a MBRP. The sled burned down. The only thing that the dealers could come up with is the pipe/ can combo. Was this true, who knows, but it is said that those pop can style canisters don't provide enough back pressure. This was on an 08 700 RMK, the most bullet proof sled around. The sled ran super good until I started slowly loosing compression. We put the SLP can back on and it ran great. WHO KNOWS
