slp pipe with diamond s can?

That is the set up that I have decided to go with. As for the fit I can't say as the SLP pipe hasn't come yet. It should be a decent set up as far as weight and power. The can looks great. Hope the pipe is as nice as the can.

Loved the Diamond S can on my '15, ran a Bikeman pipe into it, had real good results. Looking at duplicating that combo for the Axys as cash allows..

When Scott was first doing these he said he played with them on a flow bench or something to get them as close to stock flows as he could. He was playing with different hole configurations in the baffling. If it flows about the same as stock then it should be fine to mix and match. You can run slp can with stock pipe and your fine and you can run their pipe with stock can and you're fine. They are going to say they don't know because they haven't played with it. They want to sell you the whole package. Might be wrong but I bet it works fine.

Yep, I do.

You will have to do a few mods to get the Ti Quiet can to mate with the SLP pipe properly. The mods are: shorten & drill new holes the spring tabs on the can, bend the spring tabs on the pipe a little toward the front of the sled, possibly shorten a spring.

You will need to keep the long stock spring that goes from the stock can to black support bar as well as the upper rubber isolator.

any miles with this set up and did you try full slp first and notice any diff. how much weight could you run at what elevation? thanks

About 3 miles, no never bought the SLP can. For now, running 64g Belly Busters 6 to 8K - these may change once the break-in is over.

I tried putting the SSI titanium can on my SLP pipe tonight,it did not fit well. You had to raise the pipe up a couple inches to get it to go on making the pipe to close to hood and airbox.

So I have a SSI can for sale cheap, ready to ship without the month backorder wait! Super light and nice quality.

You also should be careful when you take the rubber isolator off the stock muffler and put it on the Diamond S muffler. It is easy to rip it where it goes through the hole. I know because I did it. A new one wasn't expensive but I had to order it since it was not in stock. I was more careful with the new one.
