Our group went riding the other day in what was the deepest snow I have ever been in. We had 3ft+ of fresh powder that had been dumped the previous 4 days. Unlike early season dry powder, this snow had a unique texture to it. It was amazing to carve in and pound the jumps, but once a track was made, the snow was just wet enough that it set up. our group consisted of 3 09 163 Dragons, 2 2011 M8's(all stock) 1 08 M1000 w/ SLP pipe, 1 07 700 Dragon, 1 Very(SLP perf package) well setup 07 REV 159, 1 155 09 RMK, and 1 PRO 163 with an SLP pipe. The Pro broke trail all day. What I found amazing about this day was watching all these sleds side by side. The places that all the other sleds were "making it through" the Pro was FLAT A$$ RIPPING through. Are we comparing apples to apples here? NO! I realize that. The Doo was impressive also, it was packing a 130 lb rider too. I realize that when it comes to sleds, rider weight and ability, and snow conditions there is no way to honestly compare, but everyone, cat and Doo riders alike was equally stunned by the dominance of the PRO. I did get a chance to ride it in one of the high altitude rolling bowls and was surprised at power difference between the stock PRO I rode from the week before and the one with the pipe on it. It felt way better than any single piped Dragon I have ever been on. Whether it be a standard RMK with a wish list, or a Pro, I am obsessing over getting one for next season. Again, I'm not trying to start a pi$$in match or anything else, just reporting my 1st hand and seat-of-the-pants experience. Great job Poo and SLP!!!
