SLP Pipe Fitment from 11/12 Models to 13+

Wondering if anyone has some insight on the differences between SLP pipe and silencer combo for the 11/12 Pro-RMK's to the 13+ Pro-RMK's. At one time I thought I had heard it was just a difference in silencers due to the quick-drive. But am not sure.

Also does anyone have any experience with having either setup on a TKI Belt Drive setup Pro?

Thought is if neither works with the TKI and I have to fit a different silencer why not try to save a buck if I can pick up a earlier 11/12 pipe if they are the same.

Switching to Carl's 900 and they recommend a SLP pipe.
 
If I remember right the pipe was the same it was the can that was different. Think for the 11&12s a spacer was needed for the can mounting bracket or was it the 13 ups need the spacer.
 
Where you located at in mn? I have a stock pipe from an 11 and a 12 with slp pipe. If your close enough you could try one of the pipes for fitment.
 
Shimming at the pipe support for clearance under the CF structure is important and the '13 kit included more HD heat tape that covered more around that area. I would suspect the 900 will have you jiggling things around that tight area anyway.

Can is close to belt drive and with C3 set-up required creative denting to make room for a shortened adj. bolt. Can mount from the '12 fits the '13 or grind off some of the ceramic and tig on some home bent stuff to fit the '13 mount.

In the end, lol, the SLP pipe uses an internal stinger and IMO any can open enough will work and provide clearance if desired and,,, if you don't mind doing some pie cutting, fitting and tigging to make ends meet.
 
So are we saying the SLP 11-12 pipe is probably the same as the 13+ its just the silencers that are different?

I have a couple other pipes, stock, AAEN, BMP, but just trying to follow the book on what Carl's wants. For once I am just going to run it, and not try and fiddly **** my own ideas into the engine, haha.

I ran the 11-12 Slp pipe on my 13, it worked and fit perfect just had to get the 11-12 lower can mount, or make your own ( that's what I did ) just heat tape everything good and run it. There was no issues with stock quick drive clearance

Thanks guys! I was pretty sure the actual pipe (not the silencer) where basically the same. Granted if I can find a complete 13+ setup I'll go that route, but saw a 11-12 setup awhile back for a steal, of course I missed it.
