Has anyone installed one of these kits on an M8? If so, how do you like it? Thinking of putting one on and looking for some history with this kit.
Any info would be helpful

They work awesome and I've never heard of one failing. I have a 09 m1000 with full slp pipe and my rpm was down just a little bit and the m8 ran side by side with me. It will also tear up a stock m1000.

I have an M8 with the SLP pipe and Dakota Performance Porting. Probably about the same HP and it rips. The difference from just the pipe to the pipe and porting is incredible. I wish I would have done it sooner!

I have seen some really good dakota performance ported m8's as well along with one by cutler. I think the cutler one is the best, but it could be just the diff from sled to sled. Slp is the most conservative I think and builds a solid overall product.

I have the SLP performance Edition. Yes, it makes a huge difference over the pipe alone.

I went for the SLP Performance Edition because I already had the SLP pipe and SLP provides a very detailed fuel map for the performance edition.

I am still playing with different spring combinations but, I imagine in the end I'll like the springs SLP recommends the best. :face-icon-small-con

Has anyone had linderman at arctic edge in alberta port there M8?? Ive herd he is amazing on the M1000...

I install the full recommended performance package on my 09 M8. It works awesome including their clutch recommendations:face-icon-small-hap

I talk over the phone with A tech at SLP quite frequently. He said that last years 09 with the perf package was the most fun sled he has riddn in a long time.

Thanks for the info. I already have the SLP pipe, so thinking of going the rest of the way. I thought about putting on a pg turbo, but porting is easier and cheaper.
