SLP or HPS can on 2010 Assault? I need help??

I am getting a new can for my sled but REALLY can't decide which can to get? HPS is what i would like but i'm not relly sure if i want to spend $400 just for no performance gains or at the most very little. SLP is the traditional Polaris choice and money wise it makes the most sense. Any input would be great!!

I have an SLP on my assault, drops a couple lbs, sounds ok. Its fine for me, but i don't have to hear to my sled to know it rips....I must be getting old!!! :D

HPS sounds awesome, I went with an SLP because they are the ONLY can right now that will meet Colorado's noise requirements. I would rather not mess around.

You are buying a weight savings and sound you like. I am really just buying a weight savings.

I put on the SLP because of the warranty issues. It sounds ok but it definitely isn't as loud as a MBRP or HPS. It runs better than it did with the stock can but we are still without snow so I can't really tell you if it has an increase in power or not!
