SLP LED tailight

I had posted on here before on LED taillight.I found out the light was junk. So I got SLP taillight.Now I went to hook it up but can't get it to work.So if somebody can help me it would be great.I'm putting it on a 04 800 summit.I tried a test light and I can only get a constant light. No brake light. when I try to hook up the light it don't work.


HELP PLEASE!!!!!!

How many wires does the led module have?


Your rev should have 3 wires going to the old light. If your module has 3, then it is a simple wire hookup, but you will have to change the 8 ohm resistor in the old light assembly to get the proper low and high brightness.

I believe on mine it had 3. But right now mine is on all the time because my brake position switch is broke off.

I put one on a 05 summit 600, and just had to swap the wires around. worked for me??

They wont work with out a relay. The relay is offered in the catalog.

can't find the brake light wire

I was checking the wires to find the tail light and brake light. I found the tail light but can't get the test light to light up on the other.On Dootalk talk about a diode in the wires.

The other wire would be for your brake light and it will not have voltage on it until the lever is pulled.

I understand that but when I pull the handle the test light still didn't light up.I can't figure it out.Does someone know where I can get a wiring diagram so I can trace done the wires?

check your PM
