SLP Hyper Fax melts the track

I installed SLP Hyper Fax slides on my 08 Polaris RMK 700 with a 155" track. While aligning and adjusting the track the graphite insert is wearing a groove in the track between the clips. I'm assuming that I need to install metal clips in the track holes that don't have them. Anyone got a better idea?

You are supposed to have every window clipped or I believe there was a kit with buttons you could install. I was too lazy, on one sled, and didn't clip it but it didn't seem to bother it.

Even the stock hyfax will wear the track a little, I wouldn't worry unless it was deep.
