slp high flow intake

i just put on the intake and rode this weekend. it is bitter cold here but i discovered ice and powder getting in the intake between the prefilter and the cone. it doesn't seem to be sealing completely. i haven't bought the frogskins yet but i plan on it. i'm scared the powder is getting in thru the vent slots under the lights and dropping down.

anybody else having this problem. do i need to be freaking out about my motor leaning down from ice/water/snow getting in the intake for a 50 mile ride??

The aftermarket intakes are junk compared to stock. Yeah they flow more but they have bad snow ingestion issues. I have seen a lot of burn downs from these intakes. The best way to run m sleds is with the stock intake. Just my experience. Hope it helps!
