Hey guys was wondering if any of you are running an slp head on your 9s? Is it worth it?Advantages? Any problems? Thanks

I run the SLP head, you really don't get that much more HP from it.It may run a little cooler. if you can get a used one for a good $$ I would do it but to by a new one not worth it.

I have them on 3 sleds and I have a spare in a box. The high Altitude domes do make the sled run better.

I agree with the above, running a few SLP heads and 1 RKT head, in my sleds and my bros sled...all high altitude, they all run great but unless you get a steal on one, its not worth it IMO, there's on on eBay for $150 now..more then that I wouldn't bother.

On a side note, I'm looking for 2 sets of LOW altitude SLP domes for my new home in Alaska if anyone has them for sale..
