Sloppy throttle

My flipper is a bit loose on my '10 600. I have the air box off and need to adjust up the slack in the throttle cable. Anything to look out for?

double check your oil pump setting after adjusting freeplay.

you shouldnt need to take the airbox off, there is an adjuster on the cable up by the handlebars about 6 inches from the throttle block. just slide the rubber boot back and adjust it so you have about an 1/8inch of play. then you dont have to mess with the oil pump or anything. sometimes the adjuster vibrates loose
