Slippery a$$ m1000 seat

Has anyone found a way to get rid of the slippery part of the seat on the Arctic Cat M seats? I don't want to spend 600 bucks on a Boss Seat. By the way how much weight difference is there in a stock M seat and a Boss.

Ya that a great idea Probably be better to just super glue the seat of your bibs to the saet and then you'd never slip. Its actually my knee that slips, I can handle my rear slipping around just hate when my I try to use my knee for leverage and it slips all over the place. Velcro, na duct tape thats more like it especially on an m1000 you need to be 200mph proof when climbing.

oh ya

My only two complaints of the M1000, slippery seat and the throttle positioning assembly on the thumb trigger.

I purchased ToBe pants and they don't slip. My Klimbs were aufull for slipping.

I once repaired a small tear in my seat with some glue I got at a fabric store. It think was called Aleens flexible fabric glue. Anyway, I noticed that it stayed very pliant and tacky to the touch months after the glue had dried - kinda like the stuff they put on the backs of credit cards you get in the junk mail. I wonder if you could get the results you want if you apply some beads of it to the seat in the areas you want some grip. It bonded to and held the seat together very well.

that's right...

"How slippery are those seats when your sled is being towed backwards Matty?"

Your killn' me...

I gotta tell ya, that was a true three mile rodeo man. It felt like two midgets were punching me in the thieghs for that last mile!

I thought about finding some kind of glue that will stay flexible and just glue a material on the slick part of the seat, if I could find some like they use on the Boss seats.
