Slime?

I use it in my mowers that have tubes. They say that is fine in a regular tire, but it makes a mess of the rim and inside of the tire.

I have never had a extreme puncture like they do with the bit, but I used to get small pin size holes in the tubes on my mower quite often that I would have to patch. Since sliming last year, I have had no flats on it.

Use it in my 4 wheeler tires at work not the green stuff but it all seems to work the same. I run over all kinds of crap while spraying weeds. I had a sharp twig bigger than that bit in my tire for at least a week and never knew it. I haven't had a flat since running over cactus, salt cedar, cottonwoods, sagebrush, greasewood and just about everything else in my path. Won't run a 4 wheeler without the stuff ever again. Never really been around anything else with slime in the tires but I'd bet it would work the same. Would be a good idea for motorcycles or anything else where u don't carry a spare.

I have used it several times and i always travel with it when i pull the sled trailer. I keep a bottle of the stuff in my daughter car in case the little pumkins has a flat.

One possible problem you may want ot be aware of is that some of the tire shops here in town refuse to perform your basic flat repair if you have used it. Thier story is that the patch wont stick. My story is that they are too lazy to do a thorough wash and clean before performing the flat repair.

Bottom line is I have used it and am impressed with the product.

The only negative thing I have heard is that if you are really into performance you will be able to notice the weight added in the tires. But that is only from people who are much much faster and pickier about speed than I am. Anyone else heard this?

I run it in everything I have, toys wise anyways and wouldn't run with out it. Stops all the headaches of the slow leaks. Also in regards to flat repairs, yes I hate to do them till I found the easy way!! Just wash the tire out with the hose and then suck it out with a wet n dry vac then patch as normal, takes a whole 5 more minutes and never had a patch fall off yet LOL.

I'm gonna try some in my trailer tires this year. Can't seem to go anywhere without having a flat on the trailer. Even if it just saves me from having to pull off along side the road and mess around with a spare it will be worth it.

I've used it in toys and in the cars I've owned and it works great. If you do put it in your car tires or trailer tires, it can unbalance your tires. I did have a noticeable amount more vibration once using it in a tire on a truck. It may have been a freak thing but it was definitely from the slime, and I ended up getting it all cleaned out to stop the vibration.

Has it been tested in freezing conditions? I would imagine you would get a frozen lump of slime in one place in your tire, and a wicked imbalance to go with it!

I've used the stuff since the early '80s, in vehicles. It was a must in my survey truck back when we surveyed cross country in Texas from the Mexican border north to Oklahoma. It works super for preventing mesquite from shutting you down for a day. Never had balance issues going down the highways.
As a bike tech since the later '80's, we know the stuff is a must to keep ATV tires up and going without punctures that normally would shut ya down. Have the stuff in my Electra Glide (Harley) too without balance issues. Never ever had freezing issues with the stuff in my personal ATV in the winter temps that North Dakota hands out.
If you want the good stuff, buy the pink colored stuff sold at Honda bike dealerships. I have seen better results with that stuff than the green slime
