Slideclicks scratchers.. How to keep them from loosening?

Hey all,
Has anyone come up with a fix to get them to stop self loosening? They do a great job of cooling IMO but i did have one loosen up on me from the mounting point on the rail. Any insight would be much appreciated!

Thanks,
-John

I've found a few of these along the trails and just wonder how people are putting these on?? I've got them on 6 of our sleds and have yet to lose one. I do use Red loctite on mine though and make sure and get them good n tite. If I remember right I use the star washer on the slide kick side and the locknut on the bolt side.

Blue loctite, star washer on outside of rail and tighten them like you mean it.

If there is room on the threads, put another nut behind the one already there and snug it tight.

Torque to 35-40 lbs, loctite of some sort and only use the star washer 1 time. If it comes loose, get a new one. It's usually the one on the right side you have to worry about.

torque the crap out of them. Haven't busted one yet from over-torquing and have only had one come loose. They come new with red loc-tite. If you take them off or move them to a new sled you need to re- loctite them.
