The fact that these guys are barely 20 years old and started development 10 months ago and already the game is pretty good for being an alpha version is promising for the future!

Im confused, any one have the link for the actual download, and does it run in its own program, through internet explorer, or through winzip? The first thing I downloaded got me a bunch of crap programs that slowed my computer way down.

Yeah i just got this stupid download manager. Then i went to sign up on their website and its free but they still want my credit card??? Screw that... Not giving my credit card to a foreign company to sign up for a free membership. Is this a scam? Seems like it should not be this difficult to download a game

yup

the bs that you guys are getting is advertising before the actual download page shows up! just look around for a button that says skip ad or go to download. I fell for it too the first time, just look around, the actual download is hiding, but well worth finding! and ps no credit card info should be needed!

Because you seem to have alot of problems, here is a guide!

1. you HAVE to register on their website! (No creditcard number or other bs stuff needed)

2. You will get a email with a link to approve your account. And then wait awhile because these guys accept every member manually so can take a couple of minutes, maybe an hour.

3. click the download button on the site, and pick the windows or mac version.

4. Now you take a chill-pill and dont click any advertising or any other junk download link. You just wait for 10 seonds and then klick "skip advertising" or "skippa annonsen" in the top right corner.

5. Now you should be on the Mediafire.com site and be able to click the sledsimulator download button (95.97MB)

6. Extract the file on you computer (with for an example winzip) and click the Sledsimulator exe-file.
(there should also be music, saves, screenshot, sledsimulator, Readme and controll files after you have extracted it.)

7. Play the game and enjoy! Rembember that it is in alpha stage.


AND it´s no scam. A couple of guys on the swedish snowmobile forum, www.snowmobile.se made it.

Ok I finally got it to work. Sign up, wait for approval, confirm through your email, next go to the download link on the webpage and click, a page is going to come up, it is an advertisement. DO NOT CLICK DOWNLOAD, it downloads a bunch of crap that slows your computer way down. Instead of clicking download on this page wait the 5 seconds and a yellow icon will come up on the top right corner of this page, it says "skip ad" click this and it brings you to the actual download page. Click the green download bar here. Follow the instructions to download, once it is down loaded a winzip page with like 37 files will come up on your screen, select all the files, then right click and select extract. Your computers folders will come up, choose which folder you would like to put all the files in and select unzip. The files will now be saved in one of your folders. The file with the game on it says "SledSimulator" it has a silver SS logo in front of it. Double click this to play
