Sledding on the ISland??

Hey guys thinking of moving out to the island, an wondering if there is much sledding out there at all? If u look at Mt Washington they have double the snow base of anyone in BC. Or do u have to go across to pemberton area to ride?

yes there is snowmobiling on the island. Google BCSF and they have a list of snowmobile clubs for vancouver island.

Like anywhere else, it has been a hit and miss. Mount washington has over a 400cm base, but it's only at high elevations. The snow line is really high this year. We have had some good days, but our typical shred spots have no snow this year. Otherwise the riding here is deadly!!!!
