Sledding near Grandjean or Bull Trout Lake (Idaho)?

Is there any sledding near Grandjean or Bull Trout Lake. I know they usually close the road at Grandjean so is there a parking lot from there or is it all closed for wilderness?

There's private cabins at GrandJean. Nothing their to ride on. And, the locals think everyone is sneaking into the wilderness. So, you'll be meet by barney fie, when you come out.

Bull Trout, is a snowmobilers mecca, well actually Bruce Meadow (Bear Valley) area is, but it's all connected. Hwy 21 between Grand Jean and Bull Trout, is usually closed, if it's snowing. And, by the size of the avy piles, you'd know why. But, if you go back down to Lowman, you can take the trail out of their to Bruce Meadow. The area is huge, but know where the Wilderness area is, or again Barney will show up, this time on a snowmobile.

This page will tell you if the road is closed between Lowman/Grand Jean, and Stanely/Bull Trout/Banner Summit area. IDT
