sledding in washington

just wondering if anyone sleds down south. what kind of hassles taking sleds across the border? paperwork needed? want to ride baker, but the border crossings are a b@#$h

I haven't crossed into washington but i I did take my sled over into Alaska last year. Even if you don't have a valid registration its not a big deal, just go into the US border station tell them you wan the form to declare that you are bringin in the sled so that when you leave and go back to canada they don't think you're tryin to export it. Takes about 30 seconds to fill out, just need the VIN off the tunnel, they stamp ya and off ya go. If you do have a valid registration for your sled then its pretty much hassle free, just ahve the papers ready in case they ask.

Also you will probably get turned away if you have a criminal record of any kind.

I have some friends in bellingham that keep inviting me to ride baker, but I haven't found the time yet this year...
