Sledding at the cabin

Taking the boys to the cabin tomorrow ,they are 13 & 15 , been going up to the lake for years now. The older they get the harder it is for them to come up there . The next thing there going to be asking me " need the keys for the cabin for me and my gal ,"dad ". Then I am going to have to say " When a chicken flys out your a$$, " boy " . The whole point that I am getting at is that they sure grow up fast and I am going to miss them in a few short years. Cheers to our children ...

Good for you man! time seems to be running out for doing what DAD wants to do!

Funny I was thinking the same thing this morning! the cabin is empty this weekend and its a 3 day weekend for us, so I said lets go sleddin.... I was told we can't dad! one daughter has dance in the morning the other has softball Sat. I say lets go saturday night and sled sunday! no to that too oldest daughter has a pitching lessons Sunday and the youngest has a birthday party??? I'm now scrambling to make a guy trip out of the weekend!

I sure miss the old days when I was asked what are we diong this weekend Dad? the tide has turned I am know check the kids calendar first
