Sled won't start...AGAIN

Ok, a week ago my sled wouldn't start and I THINK the fuel pickups were clogged. Now it wont start again.

It ran fine all day yesterday and I parked it in the garage with about an inch and half of fuel. It wouldn't start this morning. Not even fire. So then I did the reverse the fuel pump trick to clean the pickups out again. Then I ran it forward and nothing. Figuring I didn't have enough fuel I manually ran the pump some more and flooded it. At this point I had good spark, all the time. It would occasionally fire and run for a few seconds and then shut down. This went on for a few hours while I has trying to clean it out. I got 4 new plugs and same thing. When the plugs are dry it would fire. Then I disconnected the fuel pump and it started up and ran for about 7 seconds. Figuring that I cleaned the cases of the fuel, I connected the fuel pump and then NOTHING. It hasn't fired since then and I just gave up for the day. Right before I quit I checked the spark AGAIN and it wasn't sparking for about 5 pulls and then it sparked for a few pulls and then no spark for a pull and so on. I also noticed that throughout the day when I pull it over the check engine light is on and the oil light is on. I have full oil. And now the check engine light is NOT on.

I've been dicking around with this thing for over 5 hours today and I'm at a loss.

I JUST put a new coil on a few days ago and it has one ride on it since then.

Thoughts?

We had a speedometer act up and show codes on an M1000 last week and the next thing the motor just died. Had to tow it in and it was the stator. The good "we put in a new stator and it fired right up!" the bad "the speedometer went bad at the same time". We figured the stator took the speedometer gauge down with it! The stator was a 207.00 fix for new and the speedometer was 269.00 new! All is fine now. I,d start with the stator. If the speedometer shows codes after the new stator you can change the face but I'd go with a whole new unit to be safe?? Yea it cost you some coin but if you can do it yourself it's an easy fix. Hardest part is routing the wires from the stator! Good luck! ELECTRICAL CAN BE A BEEOTCH!
