Anyone know what the wet weight of an 04 summit X 800 144 is? Mine weighs 556.

The offical dry weight of your sled was 488bs. So you can add your fuids 60lbs of fuel oil etc. So I think you are pretty close.

That weight is with a lightweight hood - simmons skies - boss seat with LED (took off factory light/rack - removed front bogeys -ported track/ vents?- small windshield - better boards added two spare belts and a hotdogger. O YA and no stickers.

Nice! Got mine down to 440 dry. Need to weigh it with some fluids in it though. Not too bad for a 162.

I think there is closer to 100lbs of total fluids not 60lbs

One gallon of liquid weighs 8.3 pounds. Most sleds have 10-12 gallon tanks. 12 gallons=99.6lbs+ another gallon for antifreeze= 107.9 + one more gallon of oil= 116.2. Thats with no snow stuffed in the track. No matter how light your sled is, its still at least 550lbs and up.

Your quite a bit off on your fluid weight for gas, you have water there maybe.
Gasoline depending on temp and blend is 5.93 to 6.42 lbs per gallon.

And oil and anti freeze are different as well. I believe antio freeze is like 7.6#/g

Sawyer is right infact when you ride a Yamaha this is very-very important to use this to your advantage to drop the weight enough. I snapped this pic of Chris a wile back.
