Was there a hillclimb at Spout Springs or is the hill actually open for snowmobiles now that ski season is over?

NO snowmobiles allowed at Spout Springs Ski Resort

There was a small group looking to host a hillclimb in 09 that was allowed to check the area out with the owners permission. I have not heard how it went but I know a lot of people were dissapointed that the hillclimb didn't happen in 2008. I think with another good snow year and a cooperative insurance company a hillclimb/snocross for 09 is possible.

Sign me up a hill climb at spout sounds like fun and next time someone is aloud to check it out let me know I will be all over that

A bunch of us in the club checked out the runs at Spout. We had written permission from the owner of Spout Springs. We did look at options for a future hill climb event. We would welcome your help and comments for planning.

If you need help getting it set up we can help I still talk to some guys I use to race with and they would be more than happy to help. we can help design a sno-cross track and a hill climb course just let me know. 509-531-9159. Thanks. We will take you up on your offer. Watch this site for details later on. We want to make it challenging and not a straight run to the top. We want jumps and turns. Something to keep the crowd interested and coming back for more. Hopefully the insurance and sponsors can get figured out so it will come together!.
