Sled Survey

Did anyone else get a sled survey emailed to them by morpace market research and consulting?

It was a thorough survey and I liked where they were going with it. Ultra light weight and 1000cc was mentioned a lot.

Took the survey today, and yes, 1000cc, ultra-lightweight (sub 400#) and 12 gallon fuel capacity were three common options amongst their Polaris, Cat and Ski-Doo listings. I saw 1000cc Polaris and 1000cc Ski-Doo the most, and I narrowed it down so that all I had left was Polaris and Cat. They only asked about 1000cc Cats and Yamahas a couple times. If it has any meaning whatsoever, I'd say based on the rumors floating around these days, Yamaha might be sharing large CC two-stroke tech with Cat, and all four manufacturers are going into a horsepower race.

Of course this glass is half-full. I don't know if this survey is a year-to-year thing, or a meaningful first-time thing. Companies could have tons of prototypes and choose to only build the few most appealing to their consumers. All I know is I said I would "Most definately" purchase an ultra-lightweight, high fuel capacity, long track 1000cc Polaris.

Could you imagine, 170-180 stock horse, 398 pound 163" or 174" Pro RMK? :D
